In accordance with Information Privacy Principles 1 to 4, we collect your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide immigration advisory services and assess your visa eligibility
  • To prepare, lodge, and manage visa applications on your behalf
  • To communicate with you about your enquiries and the progress of your case
  • To comply with record-keeping requirements set by the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA)
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We will not use your personal information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We only collect information that is necessary for the purposes stated above.

  • Immigration New Zealand (INZ): For the purpose of lodging and managing visa applications, with your knowledge and consent
  • Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA): If required for regulatory or complaint-handling purposes
  • As required by New Zealand law: Where we are legally obligated to disclose information

We will not transfer your personal information to an overseas recipient without first informing you and ensuring appropriate protections are in place, in accordance with Information Privacy Principle 12.

Your Rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you (IPP 6)
  • Right to correction: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information (IPP 7)
  • Right to request deletion: You may ask us to delete your personal information, subject to any legal or regulatory retention requirements

To make a request, please contact us by email or in writing at the address below. We will respond to your request within 20 working days, as required by the Privacy Act 2020.

Unique Identifiers

In accordance with Information Privacy Principles 12 and 13, we will not assign you a unique identifier unless it is necessary for the efficient operation of our services. We will not require you to disclose any unique identifier assigned to you by another agency unless it is one of the purposes for which that identifier was assigned, or for a purpose directly related to one of those purposes.
